  5. The Job Costing module records purchases, revenue, issues of stock, salaries
  6. and time sheets for each job, either posted automatically by other Chameleon
  7. 2000 modules or processed directly through job costing. Revenue and expense
  8. codes by which income and expenditure can be summarised within jobs may be
  9. user-defined. Budgets and forecasts for each revenue and expense code within
  10. each job can be maintained, and thus variances between these and actuals can be
  11. enquired and reported upon. As transactions are posted to jobs it is possible
  12. to generate overhead recovery postings, determined by the expense and revenue
  13. codes.
